We are a growing team currently consisting twelve artists.

Bernard OMONDI
Benard Omondi (Art Benny) is a visual artist under the umbrella of Africa Nomads Art Space in Mombasa, Kenya. Born and raised Kibera Slums Kenya, Benny as an artist has been painting works that evolve around the themes of slum life, mental health, early teenage pregnancies, politics and the daily hustles people within the slum community do to make ends meet.
Benny expresses his works through vibrant colors and textures on canvas that create a rhythm of the feelings expressed in the painting. Benny holds a Diploma in Fine Arts from Mwangaza Art School in Kisumu,Kenya.

Sally BELLA
Sally Bella is a Mombasa based crotchet artist known for fusing math and science with yarn and craftmanship and has been honing her skills for 7 years. Born and raised in Kenya, Sally’s art focusses on symbiotic relationship found in the invisible forces and structure architectural patterns and the automobile industry.
Sally has a background in Automotive Engineering that greatly impacts her art. She is currently residing in Mombasa and an artist at Africa Nomads Art Space.

Benjamin LIVOI
Benjamin is the founder of Africa Nomads Art Space. He drives the vision of the art space in providing opportunities and events for emerging, established, innovative and experimental artists in a variety of mediums, encouraging collaboration and creative thinking between artistic disciplines.
Born and raised in Kenya, Livoi as a curator and a multimedia artist has been developing artwork around African cultural integration, modernization and everyday lifestyle practices. His main technique is mosaic.
Livoi studied Bachelor of Arts (fine art) in Kenyatta University and attended. He runs the Africa Nomads Art Space a contemporary art gallery as the director.

Raphael MUCHOMBA
Raphael is a Kenyan contemporary artist whose work majors in painting and drawing/ illustration. His theme varies from social political economic to black cultural identity and their place in the universe, to graffiti and abstraction. His main style is realism.
Having studied Fine Arts at Kenyatta University and Automotive Mechanics at NIVTC a national Industrial training authority in Kenya, Raphael has acquired multiple skill sets and create work inspired by this background.
Raphael currently lives in Mombasa and serves as operations manager and curator at Africa Nomads Art Space.

Louis KIOGORA
Louis is a photographer with a kin interest in luxury and infamous landscapes. He has practiced photography for the last 7 years. Louis is a diverse artist with special interest in the fields of sculpting and music.
He is currently working in Africa Nomads Art Space as a sculptor and photographer.

Yonah MUDIBO
Yonah Wanjala Mudibo is a multidisciplinary visual artist working in various media such as paintings, body art, string art, murals, installations and plastic sculpture. His themes revolve around life in Mombasa, Kenya, where he was born and raised. These themes include environmental conservation (especially against plastic pollution), African Heritage, racial unity and identity. These themes are expressed in the different forms he works in. Yonah has a B.Ed. in English and Literature. He is based in Mombasa and works at the Africa Nomads Art Space.

Michael MBAI
Michael is a sculptor working with the root part of a tree. He finds pleasure in turning the roots into something valuable, exploring the everday lifestyle and the rich wildlife around us.
Michael Mbai currently works in Africa Nomads Art Space as a sculptor.

Martina PETROLL
Martina Petroll (Art Tina Diani) a German artist attributes her passion for art since a very young age. Her school art teacher and her dad aroused interest in aesthetics and art.
She found back to painting during her depressive episode, and since that she never stopped working in art. Art is her life elixir.
Her main medium is acrylic. She works also with mixed media and experimenting with different materials and styles. She also produced her own pigments out of the Kenyan soil.
It’s the curiosity of possibilities and techniques what pushes her forward. Her passion is the reflections of light, and she gets inspired by nature and human.
Martina does photorealistic, Impressionism, and abstract art, and collage as well. She likes sketching in between and creating with driftwood.
She had her first solo exhibition at Africa Nomads Art Space, and since that she is part of the Africa Nomads Art umbrella.

Fabrice Leito
Fabrice Leito, is one of the painters at Africa nomads art space and currently based in France. He explores the vast potential of expression of the beings around him and the emotions they give off. Fascinated by their beauty and essence, he instantly captures what he perceives, keeping it in memory to restore it in his creations.
